Butterflies 4 Evelyn was established in 2022 in rememberance of my grandmother, Evelyn Jones Wade who passed away due to ovarian cancer. She was known by her friends and family as "Boot". Evelyn was hardworking, loving, caring and helped everyone she came in contact with. She was a fighter throughout her sickness and never complained. She always kept her faith despite what she was going through... she was a very strong lady. She loved her family, who took care of her at home while she went through her illness. I will never forget how she instilled in us to always be kind to everyone you meet and to love them no matter what. She loved butterflies. When she passed away, some of the family would often see butterlies whenever we thought of her. Upon visiting her resting place, there would be butterlies flying at times, which seemed to be a symbol that she was yet still around.
